1RM Dead Lift; Genuine Strength Training


It was good to see some genuine strength training in the gym today.
To increase muscle hypertrophy, you need to increase the amount of Work you ask the muscles to perform.  To increase the amount of work, being energy used, you need to either increase the amount of time spent lifting (ie. time under tension) or the amount of force you can produce, ie. absolute strength, because Work = Force x Time
